In my health communication class we had to analyze narrative medicine and why it is misunderstood. There were many analogies and examples that we had to think critically of. Narrative medicine is a technique that should be used more often. We had to compare this system to what is actually in place in current health care. This taught us that communication is often the missing piece when you are struggling to figure something out. Science is not the end all be all answer. The target audience for this are people interested in the healthcare field and the disparities.
